How to transform horse meat beaters into art patrons

Redirecting the Dog Pronmakers:

The first few weeks after the dog suck hacking I didn’t notice anything, as the holidays were busy making me lazy and fat. Then, a week ago, I noticed a rather large bump in the hit count of my little used and rarely updated site. (secrettechnology.com is where all my net artworks currently reside) After finding the suspect and sneakily named pages and discovering their monkey frenching goodness, I immediately erased them and wondered, in my own special paranoid way, if the local animal rights league would be tossing ‘loaded’ condoms at me on opening my front door.

That night before falling asleep, I recalled a conversation with a friend about ‘unexpected beauty’, its power and how the modern mass produced culture is driven by sameness consumerism and satisfying generic expectations. Later I dreamed about steam powered augers and something called the ‘ice cream come-over”, but that’s another longer and more treacherous story.  So, with the desire to spread some unexpected beauty, specifically to those whose lives must be desperate and pockets filled with ham or bacon treats, I replaced the files I erased with my own redirects. And instead of my site linking to cross species affairs, I sent those seeking such things straight into the middle of my various net artworks.
